The Cady Ridge Trail (Cascade Mountains, Washington state) provides a steep and dry access route to the Pacific Crest Trail from the Little Wenatchee Trailhead.
Cady T is my first breeding girl, and not many people are lucky enough to start their program so well. Her show career has been brief - a few kitten shows, and getting her Championship in CFA. I'm content for her to be a stay at home mom from now on. Some cats love the show ring - Cady just tolerated it. But she's a beautiful girl, and will make beautiful babies, so a short show career is fine! Click here for more pictures of Cady
Cady's Pedigree
Being my first girl, I have to admit that I was a little over-vigilent on the health screening end. Poor Cady has endured an early screen for hip dysplasia and as well as her first echo exam for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and polycystic kidney disease (PKD). She is genetically negative for both the gene associated with HCM as well as spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). Everything is a go and she's ready to be a mom!
What I hope she will pass on to her kittens are first of all, her health - and after that, her lovely ears, luxurious lynx tips, and lush coat. . . and finally, I hope she will pass on her gentle, playful personality.
